2010 Tertiary Grants  

 

APPLICATION can only be made using the online application form - see below

ELIGIBILITY  

The Board will recognise only those applicants who are:

  • Ngati Whakaue descendant of an original owner in the Pukeroa Oruawhata Block
    ( click here for list of owners), OR
  • Descendant of one or more of the 6 Koromatua of Ngati Whakaue
    ( click here to view Koromatua)

Each applicant must also provide evidence that he or she has:    

  • Been accepted as a student at a university, college of education, polytechnic, or whare wananga and provide details of their programme of study.    

  • Paid course related fees and costs for study towards a degree, diploma or certificate progamme    

Grants are NOT available for free courses. Applications cover paid course fees only. Text books and other course related costs are not covered.

NOTE:
APPLICATIONS CAN ONLY BE MADE USING THE ONLINE FORM.

Your verified whakapapa sheet (download form) and documentary evidence to support your application are essential for consideration of a grant.

  1. REGISTER for your application form.  After you register (see below) you will be taken straight into your form.
  2. SAVE YOUR REGISTRATION details.  This will save your entered data and you can also exit and return to your form at anytime to complete.

  3. Once you have COMPLETED and SUBMITTED your online form FORWARD all supporting documents to the Secretary's office (Hulton Patchell Limited - see your personalised cover sheet for contact details or click here).

If you submit an online application form but then fail to provide the Cover Sheet and supporting documents to the Secretary's office by 4.00pm on Friday 30th April 2010 your application MAY NOT BE CONSIDERED 

 

CLOSING DATE: 4.00PM FRIDAY 30TH APRIL 2010

 

  • The Board requires all applicants to COMPLETE their application FULLY.
  • Incomplete applications may be REJECTED.
  • Requests by the Board for ANY omitted documents or information will incur an administration fee deductible from any grant for which applicants may be eligible. The fee payable will be 15% of the total grant.
  • All applicants will be notified by mail of the Board's decision and any payments to be made. Any payment will be credited directly to the bank account number supplied by the applicant.
  • The Board's policy is to not enter into correspondence with unsuccessful applicants.
