History of the Firm

The firm of Hulton Patchell was formed on the1 July 1995 when Murray Patchell joined Ian Hulton in partnership following the retirement of Keith Hinton. The firm has its foundations in the former practices of Keith Hinton and Hinton & Hulton going back to 1970. The partnership was corporatised (Hulton Patchell Limited) on the 1st April 2002. Over the past 30 years we have been providing accounting and associated services to Rotorua and surrounding communities. The core business of our firm is to provide comprehensive package of accounting, secretarial, share registry, property management, and taxation and business advisory services to Maori Authorities. In addition, services are provided to a number of schools, and a variety of commercial and private clients. Location and Premises Our office is located on the 2nd Floor of Pukeroa Oruawhata House in Amohau Street, Rotorua. It is immediately adjacent to the Central Mall, with ample parking available for our clients. The office is airconditioned to provide comfort for our staff and visitors. We have a large boardroom suitable for meetings of up to 16 people, or up to 40 people seated in theatre style.
